Honda Launches Pioneering “Honda 0” Electric Vehicle Series
In a groundbreaking move, Honda has introduced its new global electric vehicle (EV) series, the “Honda 0.” This announcement was accompanied by unveiling two innovative concept models, marking a significant shift in the company’s approach to electric mobility.
Toshihiro Mibe, Honda’s Global CEO, emphasized the departure from conventional EV designs, stating, “We are steering away from the ‘thick, heavy, but smart’ EV trend. Introducing Saloon and Space-Hub: Honda’s Concept Models

Saloon: The Flagship Model
The Saloon, the flagship of the Honda 0 Series, boasts a unique EV platform. It embodies Honda’s “man maximum, machine minimum” philosophy, featuring a low, wide exterior and a surprisingly roomy interior. Sustainability is critical, with eco-friendly materials used throughout. The Saloon also introduces new steer-by-wire and motion control systems, enhancing the driving experience. Anticipated in North America by 2026, this model promises to redefine the connection between driver and vehicle.
Space-Hub: Redefining Versatility
The Space-Hub concept is centred around enhancing daily life. It offers a versatile, spacious cabin, excellent visibility, and a design ethos of “Thin, Light, and Wise.” This concept aims to be more than just a vehicle; it’s envisioned as a “hub” that connects people and their environments.
New “H” Mark Logo for Honda’s EVs
Honda also revealed a redesigned “H mark” logo, symbolizing its commitment to a historic transformation in the electric vehicle landscape. The new logo, representing two outstretched hands, will be featured on all future Honda EV models, starting with the Honda 0 Series.
